Description

This course reviews the phsiological etiology of aging, the interrelationship between physiological change and mental health, self- assessment, needs assessment, status issues and work in family and institutional settings. This course also focuses on aging in an industrial society, especially on the class, racial, cultural and sexual differencees of growing old. It also covers the right to work, social society, housing and health care. Three credit hours.
